Year-over-year, workers in the construction industry continue to face various safety hazards and risks while on the job. In fact, according to OSHA, “every year in the U.S. more than 800 construction workers die and nearly 137,000 are seriously injured while on the job.”1

To help enhance worker and worksite safety across the construction industry, MSA has signed on as a capstone supporter of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).

MSA and AGC: Shared Values as Industry Leaders

Established in 1914, MSA Safety is the global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of safety products. As an AGC capstone supporter, MSA aims to provide AGC members with industry-leading fall protection PPE, Type I and Type II hard hats and safety helmets, connected gas detection solutions, and comprehensive in-person and online training to help enhance worker safety at their jobsite. With safety experts located across the country, MSA offers a solid network of support to AGC members, ready to help find the PPE, safety solutions, and training to help meet the needs of their unique jobsites and applications.

As “the voice of the construction industry,” AGC is “an organization of qualified construction contractors and industry related companies dedicated to skill, integrity and responsibility.”2 Similar to MSA, AGC has been in existence for more than 100 years. Recognized as the oldest and largest construction association, AGC’s membership consists of the country’s leading general contractors, specialty-contracting firms, service providers, and suppliers. With a nationwide network of local chapters, AGC aims to educate its members about what’s new in construction techniques and technology, while connecting construction professionals with each other.3

Together, the MSA and AGC partnership brings together two longstanding industry leaders committed to worker safety, education, and support.

Events and Partnership Details

As a capstone supporter, MSA is participating in several AGC-hosted events and conferences throughout 2026. In addition to kicking off the partnership early in the year with the Winter Construction Safety & Health Conference and Surety Bonding & Risk Management Conference, notable upcoming events include:

  • 2026 Annual Convention & Contractor Solutions Expo
  • AGC Federal Contractors Conference
  • Summer Construction Safety & Health Conference

MSA safety experts will be in attendance at each of these events, ready to discuss and demo the latest PPE and safety solutions, answer questions, and share insight on industry trends and standards updates.

AGC members can benefit from MSA’s products and programs, including:

  • Free Fall Protection Product Trial Opportunities
